The composition of the drug:
1 capsule contains:
ampicillin (in the form of trihydrate) 250 or 500 mg
5 ml of final suspension contains:
ampicillin (in the form of trihydrate) 250 mg

Pharmacological Effects:

a) Therapeutic group:
Broad-spectrum antibiotic from the group of semi-synthetic penicillins.

b) Pharmacological effects:
The drug has a bactericidal action. Active against gram-positive bacteria: cocci - Staphylocjccus spp. (With the exception of strains of penicillinase producing), Streptococcus spp. (Including Enterococcus); aerobic asporogenous bacteria - Listeria monocytogenes. The drug is also active against Gram-negative microorganisms: aerobic cocci - Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis; aerobic bacteria - Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Salmonella spp., Bordetella pertussis, some strains of Haemophilus influenzae. Ampicillin destroyed by penicillinase. Acid-resistant.

a) Pharmacokinetics:
When ingestion of the drug absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract by about 60%. Food reduces the absorption of the drug. Indications:

Contraindications:
